About Me

Hello! My name is Derek Pyatt, and I'm a junior in the Boise State University Games, Interactive Media, and Mobile (GIMM) program. I have experience with web development, game design, mobile development, 2d art, 3d modeling, and UI/UX design. I have a passion for creative work and feel most inspired when surrounded by other people who are equally passionate about their craft. I seek positions where I can learn and expand my knowledge as a part of a collaborative team. After college, I plan on pursuing a master's program in product management and eventually leading a team of my own.

Web Dev

Since learning basic HTML & CSS I have expanded my knowledge to include different frameworks and libraries.

Game Dev

I started working on games with Flash and have since transitioned to Unity where I am currently working with VR and AR.

Mobile Dev

I started mobile development working on an Ionic application designed to mimic tinder for finding resturants. Since then I have worked on an AR mini golf game as well as an Alexa project for Echo Frames.

UX Design & 3D Modeling

Art in general is a huge passion of mine, I like 2D art and 3D modeling. UX design is also very important to me as I am currently getting my UX design certificate through BSU.
